Revealing the Selestium Astrology Website + new Intro Video for the Software
Hello cosmic watchers,
A quick update from me about what's been going on with Selestium Astrology. It's been a while since I've posted publicly about things. Since last summer I have been living in-between my current home, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and the US (where I was born), as I have been taking care of an ill friend going through cancer treatment. This has caused various delays in the development of the program. But since her treatment is going well, I'll be returning to the NL for good soon and will be able to get back to more sustained work on the application.
In the meantime, I've created two things I wanted to share with all of you first before posting it publicly:
- I've created a short (!) 30 minute video that is a demo of some of the current feature-set of Selestium Astrology along with some of my reasoning about why I started developing the software. This video can be found on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icuf_w6Y-SU. (There are chapter markers to help you navigate this long video!) The link will be private for the first couple of days before I share it more widely—so you get an exclusive first-look.
- I've also created a website that gives a lot more details about the program, including tons of screenshots, a full list of features, and a large number of frequently-asked questions (FAQs) that can perhaps answer many of the questions you might have. You can visit this website at https://astrology.selestium.net.
At this point I am within a couple of weeks of being able to offer the software to those of you who are interested in testing it. If you would be interested in testing, please reach out to me by replying to this e-mail. In return for providing feedback based on your tests you'll receive a free license for the first version of the software once it is released. As a reminder the software works on Windows, MacOS, and Linux (although, see below for Linux), it should work on any relatively recent (past 5-10 years) laptop (no gaming PC requried!), and it will be easily installable.
If you have any questions about things, please reach out! And please feel free to share the website link far and wide with others who might be interested.
Thanks for your time and your interest in Selestium Astrology! More soon.
Under the cosmic skies,
Adriana
- For Linux I am still working on making flatpaks so at the moment I will only be able to offer a downloadable zip file of a compiled, standalone executable and libraries.
